96th Bomb Group museum and memorials.

 

             

The 96th Bomb Group ( Snetterton Heath) is based at The New Eccles hall School, Quidenham, Norfolk, NR16 2NZ. The school is situated on the old base hospital site with many original buildings still being used.

The museum is open on th first Sunday of the month May-September 2pm-4.30pm or by appointment.

Our major Open Day is on Sunday September 14th 2008 11am-4pm and will include Living History Displays, Vintage vehicles, stalls 1940's music and much more.
When visiting the museum why not visit our two stunning memorials the beautiful stained glass window in St Andrews Church Quidenham and the 30ft Stainless steel Memorial at the entrance to Snetterton Race Circuit.


The museum is situated in between the villages of Quidenham and Eccles and if you are coming off the A11 take the circuit turning, follow directions for Industrial Estate, go past the circuit entrance on your right, turn left at White cottages, follow road over bridge through wooded area and the school will be found on your left.
